Flight Instructor Refresher Course to be held March 7-8, 2015 in the Horizon Center for Transportation Technology. The Horizon Center is located at: 4940 88th Avenue (Hwy H), Kenosha, WI. The course is co-sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Bureau of Aeronautics and Gateway Technical College.
Participants must attend all 16 hours of the course to receive a graduation certificate. The renewal of your flight instructor certificate is based upon the successful completion of the course. If you have an expired CFI certificate, you will need to have your certificate reinstated by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Registration, coffee and continental breakfast will begin at 7:00 a.m. both days.
Sessions begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. and will conclude at 5:00 p.m. on both days.
The registration fee is $150 for Wisconsin residents and $175 for non-residents. This fee includes a luncheon each day, beverages, a morning and afternoon break, course fees and handout materials. To register, complete the enclosed registration form, make your check out with proper payment to: Wisconsin Department of Transportation and return the registration form and fee by February 27, 2015. Registration after February 27, 2015 will be $175 for Wisconsin residents and $200 for non-residents. Registration fee refunds will be given if cancellation is received before february 27, 2015.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) was officially established in 1967 by combining formerly independent agencies and the Department of Motor Vehicles (which included the State Highway Commission, State Aeronautics Commission and State Patrol).
